What is the Podcast?

It is a new way to access our radio broadcasts.  With a small free
download (iPodder) which is linked below, you can subscribe to our
"podcast".  This program will perform automatic checks and download the
newest program whenever your webservant posts it.  It will then be ready
for you to listen to on your favorite media player or to upload to your iPod
(thus the name podcast) or Dell DJ or other mp3 aggregator.

How do I sign up?

First you'll need to download ipodder.
(you can use other podcasting
software if you wish, this is just our suggestion for a good, free program if
you don't already have one)

Click the following icon to start your download if you are using
Windows 2000/XP
(if you are using an operating system other than
Windows 2000/XP
Second, once you have downloaded and installed iPodder, open
the program.
You will now need to subscribe to our feed.  The following
screenshots will walk you through the process.  If you are having trouble
seeing the screenshots, you can click on them to view a larger image.

Now, with iPodder open,  Click on the green circle with the white
plus sign (+) on it.
 See picture below.
This will open a smaller window where you'll enter the URL for
our podcast.
Enter the URL EXACTLY as follows:

                 http://gospelfortoday.blogspot.com

DO NOT add a 'www' in the address or it will not work.  Just copy and
past the URL above into the window, if possible.  Once the URL is
entered, hit 'SAVE' at the bottom of the window.  See image below:
Now, check for new podcasts. Do this by clicking the large green
square in the upper left-hand corner.  See image below.
Once the podcast is downloaded, click on the "downloads"
tab.
From here, right-click on the program to play it in your favorite
media player (i.e. iTunes, Windows Media Player) or you can upload it
to your mp3 device (iPod, Dell DJ, etc.).  See image below:
If you want to check for new podcasts manually, stop here.  If
you want iPodder to automatically check for new podcasts and
download them for you, read on.
If you are on a broadband (DSL,
Cable, Satellite) connection, you can have iPodder run in your task tray
and automatically scan for new podcasts when they become available.

First, click on File, then choose 'preferences'   (See image below)
In the window that pops up, click the box beside, "at start up
only show iPodder in the system tray"
Once this box is checked,
hit 'Save' at the bottom of the window. See image below:
Now, back on the "Subscriptions" tab, click on the scheduler
icon.
This is on the far right of the row of icons.  It looks like a clock
and a calendar.  See image below:
Now, the scheduler window will open.  Put a check beside
"Enable Scheduler" at the top and beside "Check at regular intervals".
Click 'Save' at the bottom of the window.  See image below:
You're all set, enjoy the podcasts!  If you have any
