Photos from a new congregation in VA Beach

Pictures from a trip Wyn and I took to VA beach when this congregation was first starting in August '03.  Click on the pictures to see a larger version.  (picures posted Jan. '05, found them on an old roll of film :-)

Wyn and the VA beach gang.  Next to Wyn is a fellow that was a visitor to the services that morning and I grabbed him for the picture.  The tallest guy is Teah Clay, who, last I heard was in Fallujah, Iraq (keep him in your prayers).  The couple on the right are David and Jessica Jordan who are the inspirational and impressive couple who got the work at VA beach started when they were baptized in Georgia on the way to Disneyland!  They came home, started a congregation in their home and the congregation grew so quickly that they had to rent a meeting room at the local YMCA!

We knew that the new work in VA beach was going to be successful when we found this message scrawled upon the sand... HBRCBap!  How's that for a sign?   :-)

If you look closely, you'll see that Wyn is on his cell phone... "Yeah Honey, Justin and I are really 'roughin it' on this evangelistic trip... What's that noise...uh, nothing, must just be some static.... gotta go!"
