Everything points towards creation.  We are logical enough to see that creation
demands a creator.  We are intelligent enough to see that science only goes to prove
the bible, rather than disprove it.  It is a necessity in this day and age that a Christian
have some scientific knowledge in order to disprove radical theories such as evolution
that worldly men devise and others quickly grab hold of, so they won’t have to admit
that there is a creator.  Solomon, the wise king of Israel, made time to study the
biological world.  I Kings 4:33  “Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of
Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; also he spoke of
animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fishes.”  This, the wisest of men, felt
the need to have a knowledge of biology, and I would assume, that he felt, as I do, a
deepened sense of awe in his creator with the more that he learned in this field.  If we
can first use science to show someone who puts all of their faith in science, that
there must be a creator, then, and only then, can we take out our bibles.  For without
the foundational belief in a creator, the bible means nothing.

Once this is established, however, we can show the logical person a great new world
of facts and knowledge!  We can show them that the bible stated long ago, that life
produces from “kinds” and one “kind” can’t bring forth another.  This principle was
set forth in the book of Genesis and no deviation from this has yet been observed in
nature or in a laboratory.  A chicken egg always brings forth a chicken, never a snake
or an eagle.  No doubt it has been attempted by numerous scientists in various
experiments, yet still a human gives birth to a human, a chicken egg hatches a
chicken, an acorn sprouts an oak tree and that’s that.  It is my belief that one day this
foolish quest of many scientists might go the way of the lost art of alchemy.  If
transformations interest you, my advice is to just talk to me, or anyone else who has
experienced salvation.

We can show them that long before it was proven by science, in a time when the
most advanced theories were that the earth was held up by four elephants standing on
the back of a huge turtle, or that it was held up by a giant and supernaturally strong
man, Job stated "He stretcheth out the north over the empty space, and hangs
the earth upon nothing" (Job 26:7).   How was it that Job knew long before
science proved such, that the earth was suspended by nothing?  The logical answer is
that the creator told him as much.

We can show them that long before it was proven by science, in the time that men
supposed the earth to be flat, Isaiah stated "It is he [God] who sits upon the circle
of the earth " (Isaiah 40: 22).  Yes Isaiah got the message from a source that
would have access to such information, for he got it directly from the builder.  Many
an ancient sea-farer could have eased his fears about sailing off the edge of the earth
had they simply trusted Isaiah’s inspired words.

We can show them that long before science proved that energy is neither being
created or destroyed (the first law of thermodynamics or the law of conservation of
energy), but merely changes forms, Moses wrote “...and the heavens and the
earth were finished, and all the host of them" (Genesis 2:1).  Moses knew that
creation was complete long before science realized that energy is not being created or
destroyed, but simply cycled.

We can show them that years before science proved the law of Entropy, the writer
of Hebrews recorded the following “10 ..."You, LORD, in the beginning laid the
foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.   11
They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment;
(Hebrews 1:10-11).”   The statement is made that the Earth will wear out just as an
old garment, precisely what the law of entropy states.  Everything, when no energy is
added, will run towards a state of disorder and chaos, just like an old garment.  (for

We can show them that God created them, that God cares for them and that God
cares for all his creation, no matter how small, read Matthew 6:26-29 26 "Look at
the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet
your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?   27
"Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?   28 "So why do
you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they
neither toil nor spin;   29 "and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his
glory was not arrayed like one of these."

And finally perhaps we will have the chance to show them, that science holds no
power over God, for God created the Earth and all its contents, including science.  
We can reveal to them that God wants them to come live with him in a place where
HIS power and glory may be experienced throughout eternity!  No evolving, simply
existing in a place so beautiful and wonderful that eternity never gets old…  Evolution
hasn’t the power to stand up against science and it most definitely does not have the
power to stand against God.  If you are lost, don’t look in a science book for
answers, look in the bible, for it is the only book with any power that matters, for
within it is the power of God unto salvation! (Romans 1:16)

Don’t let “scientific minds” frighten you or intimidate you in any way, they merely
have thoughts and “wisdom” devised by men.  Be reassured by 1 Corinthians 3:18-
20 18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in
this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.   19 For the wisdom
of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in
their own craftiness";   20 and again, "The LORD knows the thoughts of the
wise, that they are futile.".  We have the wisdom of God, and no matter how
foolish it may seem to some in the world, this wisdom is countless times greater than
the so called wisdom of men!

Science is nothing to fear or sidestep,  the realm of science was created by God, and
if we are willing to look past the foolishness that men have brought into science, we
will find a beautiful and amazing testament to the existence of God.  The many
miracles of nature and oddities of science could not have come into play by accident.  
I look at the amazing intricacies of even a single atom, which in itself is made of
protons, neutrons, and electrons and even smaller particles called quarks make up the
protons and neutrons!  I look at a physics book and see that the world is such an
ordered place that nearly everything can be explained by an equation, yet some would
have us believe that all this order and beauty erupted out of some kind of cosmic
crash!.  Logical?  You tell me.

I hope that you might be able to give an answer for your faith to any evolutionists
you may meet and I hope that these articles have also been edifying and strengthening
to your faith.  If you are an evolutionist, I hope that perhaps you will further
investigate Christianity while there is still time and opportunity.  Science is an interest
of mine and I find it fascinating that people don’t see how strongly it proves the
existence of God.  Please make it a point in your spiritual life to take a look at
science.  

Our children will not be taught about creation (and such should not be expected) in
public school and peer pressure is an inimitable force.  If we send our children into a
classroom where 30 students and a teacher believe in evolution and we have not
properly armed them for such a situation, then the consequences are the direct result
of our lack of action.  Would we send our children to sex education without telling
them what the bible teaches about sex?  Of course not, we do not expect their
teachers or peers to teach them biblical morals.  The same is true of the science and
especially biology courses that we send them to.  Let’s bring our children up in the
nurture and admonition of the Lord and lets not allow any Charles Darwin or
Professor so and so to destroy their faith needlessly, let them, instead, enlighten their
peers with the wisdom (and logic!) of God.
